There are ionones listed on the back of the box, and indeed this smells like a candied violet scent, with a generous splash of pineapple schnapps across the top (with the faintest touch of salty lavender under the fruit), followed by jasmine and violet, violet, and more violet, plus a heaping spoonful of sugar. If you refer to my review of the original Joop then you will see how much I love the dry down of the original. They mention that it has a mix of spicy and sweet notes, and it adds spice and musk that suit it very well to use in. It sticks to my body well and even 8+ hours later in the day I still occasionally catch a whiff of it in my movements, which is more than I can say for some other scents.

I have a sample and tested: on me it was simply awful, definitely masculin, too peppery by far and with a small longevity.Due to its sweetness, a woman could definitely gender-bend this fragrance and I have admittedly stolen a few sprays from my partner's bottle and not had anyone notice it was a "masculine fragrance". They are obviously related; Jazz club has a more prominent tobacco note and the vetiver and vanilla provide a more atmospheric accord. Homme, because many people are put off by loud fragrances, however I believe that, much like alcohol or sweets, anything can be great when done in proportion.

ok, it doesn't happen very often where u see a fragrance online and KNOW right off the bat that u are going to love it.

It reminds me a bit of the old Lancaster Joop but i think reviewers are right that this is very similar to a cherry coke float scent.

The rum note is without a doubt the most noticeable and in my opinion there isn't really much of a dry down, what you get when you spray on initially is what you have at the end of the fragrance, a spicy and sweet rum scent. It's the kind of scent that adapts to the man who, during the day, has a nice behaviour, but at night, is a transgressor. On clothes, the scent still lingers after its been through the wash so that shows how beast mode this scent performs for me.

This isn't something you'd wear to a nice dinner, but this is a perfect fragrance for a date, for the office, or even just for enjoying at home. Its definitely syntethic but I dont care because its full with positive energy and remains playfull throughout, not taking itself too seriously.
