Cocchi Rosa is a perfect ingredient for the new trend of “low octane” cocktails, with a low alcohol content. In 2012, the company was inscribed in the Italian National Register of Historic Companies for its first 121 years of uninterrupted activity. Whether as a long drink with tonic over ice, chilled on its own, or as a cocktail base, Cocchi Rosa ticks all the boxes. Cocchi is a world-famous producer of aromatised wines made without interruption since 1891 and according to original recipes handed down through generations.

Gomme syrup has mild notes of orange blossom but is odourless and serves to ensure you have a solid foundation for a wide range of different classic cocktails. Cocchi Americano Rosa is a blend of two aromatic grape varieties, Brachetto and Malvasia, herbs, fruits and spices.Cocchi Rosa's name reminds us that it’s produced with red wines, from which it derives its colour and notes of wild rose. Throughout its history, Giulio Cocchi has used the profile of the aperitif wine Americano to highlight the fine aromatic grapes of Piemonte. Probably my favourite Red Vermouth for overall versatility, it’s my favourite accompaniment for rose and violet creams, or any other dark chocolate. Produced using the same method and recipe that was originally created by Giulio Cocchi in 1891 the Americano is fantastic in a vesper Martini and makes a beautiful white Negroni when married with Suze and a citrus or floral gin.
